A superstar duet that’s been rumored for quite some time, Ed Sheeran is formally releasing a new collaboration with Taylor Swift on Friday (2.11.)
With fans speculating that it may be a remix of Ed’s track ‘The Joker and the Queen’ from his latest album = (Equals,) the British superstar singer/songwriter declined to reveal any further details about his new release.
Attending 2022 BRIT Awards earlier this week, Ed confirmed that he and Taylor have teamed up once again saying that his new song “comes out Friday and it’s with Taylor Swift”.
Taylor is listed on ‘The Joker and the Queen’s song credits for the official lyric video on YouTube and the music’s royal pair have dropped hints by including subtle references to each other in respective music videos.
Their forthcoming duet marks the fourth collaboration between the longtime friends with Ed previously co-writing / featured on Taylor’s songs ‘Everything Has Changed’, ‘End Game’, and ‘Run.’
