Music superstar’s Dua Lipa and Troye Sivan have released a brand new remix of ‘Physical’.
As part of a special re-release of her ‘Future Nostalgia’ studio LP that celebrates its fifth anniversary, the Albanian/British chanteuse and the Australian social media wünderkind combined forces on a new version of the Dua’s 2020 hit song ‘Physical.’
Different from the original version, the remix contains an entirely new verse by Sivan who sings “We’re verging on the edge of spiritual / You’re deeper than you thought, it’s a miracle / Don’t you agree? / Can you ev?n believe? / Baby, I can lov? you all night / If you ask me to—, I might / Babe, get a taste of the moment / Stay up ’til the early morning, yeah/ My final fantasy.”
While performing one of her five sold-out dates in Melbourne, Australia, as part of her Radical Optimism Tour, Dua teased the remix by bringing Troye on stage as a special guest. While the pair did not perform her song, the duo did sing Sivan’s hit ‘Rush’ while handing one lucky fan a USB stick containing a file of the ‘Physical’ remix.
Almost exactly five years to the day that it was initially released, on Friday (3.28,) the vinyl set of the re-released LP was made available to the public.
Now 29-years of age, Lipa is currently in Australia and New Zealand as part of her world tour before heading to Europe in May and June with stops in Spain, France, Germany, Amsterdam, and Italy before returning to the UK for two shows at London’s Wembley Stadium on June 20 and 21, followed by a stop in Liverpool and then Dublin, Ireland before taking the tour across the Atlantic in September for dates in Canada and North America. The superstar’s North American trek kicks off in Toronto, Canada on September 1 and will take in cities including Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, New York, Miami and Dallas before concluding in Seattle on October 16.
