Dua Lipa Sings ‘Training Season’ At BRIT Awards

Following last month’s Grammy Award telecast opening with a medley of “Dance the Night” and “Houdini,” Dua Lipa opened the 2024 BRIT Awards ceremony with a performance of “Training Season.”

Donning a cropped leather jacket and shorts and supported by a team of dancers, the superstar singer delivered her song about looking for a romantic partner that gets it “’Cause training season’s over.”

Strutting her stuff on the catwalk while singing in front of her dance troupe’s upbeat choreography – including several members descending from above to perform some acrobatic moves – Dua was lifted into the air by two of the acrobats, before she landed back onstage to close out the song.

Lipa was nominated for Artist of The Year, and Song of the Year for “Dance the Night,” and she took home the Pop Act trophy. Other performers booked for the event included Raye and Kylie Minogue, who closed the night with a medley of her own.
