In preparation for launching her own range of ice cream desserts, Dua Lipa has applied for a license to protect her name as a brand for marketing a range of frozen products.
Awaiting approval from the government’s Intellectual Property Office, according to documents reviewed by The Mirror newspaper in the United Kingdom, the superstar’s application covers the sale of “non-dairy ice cream, ice cream cones, dairy ice cream, ice cream desserts, ice cream cakes and ice cream drinks”, along with milkshakes and yogurts.
Following her opinions in a 2023 TikTok interview that subsequently went viral, fans of the Albanian/English singer will be familiar with her tastes in ice cream
During last year’s November interview with BBC Radio 1, Dua stated “I don’t think chocolate ice cream is that good. But you know what I like? It’s very simple: I take vanilla ice cream and put olive oil and sea salt on top. I’ve had so many people try it, and everyone has switched to the dark side.”
Alongside a photo of herself holding an ice cream cone, Lipa took to her X account with “Olive oil ice cream for the win.”
