Drake and PartyNextDoor are scheduling the release of their collaborative full length.
The 37-year-old superstar rapper and the 31-year-old singer/songwriter/record producer have been working on new music together and are preparing to release an album by the close of 2024.
In addition to performing ‘Sweeterman,’ ‘Redemption’, and ‘Wah Gwan Delilah’ during his interview on PartyNextDoor’s Party and Friends show in Toronto, Drake stated “Once Summer over with. Do what you need to do, I know all you girls are outside and when it gets a little chilly, PartyNextDoor and Drake album will be right there for you.”
Born Jahron Anthony Brathwaite, in 2013 PartyNextDoor was the first artist to sign with OVO Sound, Drake’s record company imprint of Warner Records.
Not the fist time the musicians have worked together, the duo collaborated on ‘Come and See Me’ in 2016, ‘Since Way Back’ in 2017, and ‘LOYAL’ in 2019 and PND also appeared on Drake’s ‘If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late’ (2015).
Born Aubrey Drake Graham, in April Drake took to social media praising Jahron with ‘PARTYNEXTDOOR 4’, along with a screenshot of the single ‘No Chill’ and the caption: “Played this 100000 times before release. Wish they logged my streams.”
In talking with Billboard about the full length Braithwaite said “This is the proudest I’ve felt. I’m excited to grind even more for the next [one]. I’m in love with how hard you should work for it. The only thing that’s important, that has changed my life, is dropping music. I’m not worried about the fame.”
