Termed a “scheduling conflict”, Drake just cancelled Australia and New Zealand concerts, including a March 4 show in Brisbane, Sydney on March 7, and two shows in Auckland on March 15 and 16.
Currently working to reschedule the ‘Anita Max Win Tour’ dates, the superstar rapper’s team are committed to make it up the omitted shows with new dates set to be added to the tour.
In a formal statement to Rolling Stone Australia, a Drake representative said:
“We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows.” “All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale.” “We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon.” “We look forward to sharing the rescheduled dates with you as soon as possible.”
Marking the first time he’s has topped the charts since his vicious feud with Kendrick Lamar, Drake just scored a #1 album charter with $ome $exy $ongs 4 U, his surprise joint LP with fellow rapper PARTYNEXTDOOR.
