Performances two songs from his latest LP, Baby, singer/songwriter/producer Dijon made his Saturday Night Live debut on 12.06.
Opening with the August-released “Higher!,” the musician (born Dijon Duenas) is coming off his work on Justin Bieber‘s Swag and Swag II, for which he is a 2026 Grammy award nominated Producer of the Year for his contribution to songs “Daisies” and “Yukon.”
After his 2021 debut album, Absolutely, Dijon told The FADER that he would “love to engage in the pop world with some of the more messy, far out sonic choices.” “…[W]hat I’d like to see in five years is hopefully having some sort of ability to at least take a stab at other things that kind of take me out of my comfort zone, but maybe putting a different spin or a fingerprint or pulling out different versions of songwriting for people.”
For his second SNL number, Dijon performed “Another Baby!”
Wrapping up a string of North American shows next week in Chicago, Detroit and Minneapolis, the Washington-native will be touring western Europe in 2026.
