During Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, Miley Cyrus performed two songs with new-wave/Broadway icon David Byrne.
Donned in an electric blue suit, and accompanied by a full band complete with saxophone, the Talking Heads frontman joined Billy Ray Cyrus’ older daughter for a powerhouse version of the David Bowie classic “Let’s Dance,” as they sang “Because my love for you”/”would break my heart in two.” “If you should fall into my arms”/”And tremble like a flower.”
The two superstar singer/songwriter s returned to the stage for Byrne’s own “Everybody’s Coming To My House.” complete with some synchronized dance moves.
Later in the televised broadcast, Dave came back again to accompany Sia in a performance of her song “Unstoppable.” Other star-studded numbers from the night included songs from Fletcher, Rae Sremmurd, Paris Hilton, and a powerful duet of “I Will Always Love You” with Cyrus’ godmother Dolly Parton.
