Nasa Discloses Artemis II Morning Playlist

Marking the first time in more than fifty years that humans have attempted moon travel, the four astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch and Jeremy Hansen have chosen a variety of music as their official wakeup playlist.

Along with Chappell Roan’s ‘Pink Pony Club’, NASA took to Instagram to revealed the full playlist, writing:

“You asked for it. Here it is. The official Artemis II wake-up song playlist.” “Each track was selected by the Moon crew, continuing a tradition that started more than 50 years ago. Stay tuned to find out which songs they’ll choose next.”

Starting with Young and Sick’s ‘Sleepyhead,’ followed by John Legend and Andre 3000’s ‘Green Light’ collaboration, ‘In A Daydream’ by the Freddy Jones Band, ‘Working Class Hero (Work)’ by CeeLo Green, Mandissa and TobyMac’s ‘Good Morning,’ and ‘Tokyo Drifting’ by Glass Animals and Denzel Curry, Queen and David Bowie’s ‘Under Pressure,’ and Charley Crocket ‘Lonesome Drifter.’

About their choice of music, Glass Animals commented “This is the coolest thing that’s ever happened to me in my life ever,” Young and Sick wrote “Thank you sooooo much for having me aboard!! My life will never be the same,” with Denzel Curry claiming he;’s now “the First Rapper Played in Space … To infinity and beyond muthaf***a.”

Quipping about their losing signal as Pink Pony Club cut out before the hook, Commander Reid Wiseman joked “We were all eagerly awaiting the chorus,’ ” promising they’d “try again next time”.
