Country Musician Colt Ford’s Bus Crash

What resulted in a broken shoulder and having to be pulled out of the vehicle through the smashed windscreen, Colt Ford was involved in a bus crash.

Unclear as to where the accident happened, the country music singer/rapper was heading for the airport at the time.

Taking to social media on Wednesday (8.12,) the 56-year old musician shared a photo of the smashed-up tour bus in heavy foliage off the side of the road, adding:

“One minute you’re headed to Germany for a show, the next thing you know your bus is in the ditch and you’re getting pulled through a windshield with a broken shoulder by first responders.” “The crew is a little banged up but we’re all still here.”

Following the accident, fans and fellow musicians responded with well wishes, including ‘Walls Come Down’ singer Meghan Patrick, who wrote, “While I am so relieved you’re alive, I am so sorry for all of this brother. You’ve had more than your share of hard times and Mitchell (Tenpenny) and I are praying for you. Here to help any way we can.”

Best known for writing ‘Dirt Road Anthem,’ that became a hit when it was covered by Jason Aldean in 2011, Ford is recently back on the road, after suffering a near-fatal heart attack in April of 2024. He has also released eight successful albums of his own music.
