In November, country music superstar Chris Stapleton will release Higher, his first album since the award-winning 2020 LP Starting Over.
Ahead of Stapleton’s 11.10 LP drop, Chirs shared “White Horse,” the full length’s first single, co-written with Dan Wilson, that follows the pair’s previous collaboration on Stapleton’s 2015 track “When the Stars Come Out.”
Available now to preorder,Higher, was co-produced by longtime collaborator Dave Cobb, Chris and his wife Morgane Stapleton, and features music from bassist J.T. Cure, pedal steel guitarist Paul Franklin, pianist Lee Pardini, drummer Derek Mixon as well as Cobb, Chris, and Morgane.
Already a big year for Stapleton, he performed the National Anthem at the Super Bowl, won Entertainer of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards, headlined Stagecoach, embarked on his All American Road Show tour. and recently guested on Carly Pearce’s singer “We Don’t Fight Anymore.”
