On Thursday (10.27,) Chloe Bailey took to social media and revealed her early Halloween costume.
Reinventing herself as Daenerys Targaryen (aka Khaleesi) from Game of Thrones, in the seven photos she posted on Instagram, (one for each of the Seven Kingdoms), the superstar singer/actress is donning a long blond wig and a bodysuit made of metal to become Dany (played by actress Emilia Clarke in the 2011-19 HBO series based on George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire book series.)
Captioning her collection of images alongside a dragon emoji, Bailey wrote with “I am Khaleesi, the Mother of Dragons #gameofthrones.” as she sits atop a throne on a medieval set surrounded by dragon eggs, skulls, candles and an hourglass.
Not her first involvement with Game of Thrones series, as part of Chloe x Halle alongside sister Halle Bailey, the sibling duo contributed the haunting song “Wolf at Your Door” for the 2019 album For the Throne: Music Inspired by the HBO Series Game of Thrones, which also featured contributions from Maren Morris, Mumford & Sons and The Lumineers as well as a collaborative track from SZA, The Weeknd and Travis Scott.
