Following an alleged disturbance at an elite New Hampshire prep school, Elijah Blue Allman was taken into custody on Friday (2.27.)
According to the Concord Police Department (CPD,) local authorities responded to St Paul’s School in Concord at around 6 pm local time after receiving a report of an “unwanted guest.” Local outlet WMUR reported that a male (with no association to the school) was in the dining hall, causing a disturbance and acting belligerently.
The son of legendary musicians Cher and Greg Allman, Elijah Blue was detained by the police and charged with two counts of simple assault, criminal trespassing, criminal threatening and disorderly conduct.
A musician himself, the Deadsy frontman was processed at the Merrimack County Jail and released on his own recognizance without bail along with a promise to appear at future court dates.
Not his first such incident, Allman’s latest legal trouble comes after he was rushed to a medical facility in California in June of 2025, when he was “acting erratically”, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department (SBCSD) at the time. He was later released from the facility a few days later.
Due to her son’s alleged substance abuse and declining mental health, Cher had filed for a temporary conservatorship over Elijah’s estate, subsequent to which the mother and son reached a private agreement, In September of 2014, Cher voluntarily dismissed her petition for conservatorship.
