Chappell Roan Dismisses Management

One day after Chappell Roan picked up six Grammy nominations, the über-popular musician has supposedly parted ways with her current management.

A professional separation that was seemingly confirmed when her former management group State of the Art posted a congratulatory Instagram post to all of their Grammy nominees that excluded mentioning of Roan, Billboard reports that Chappell has ended her working relationship with her day-to-day manager Nick Bobetsky,

It was back in October when Hits Daily Double first reported “rumors” that the superstar singer/songwriter and her management were on shaky ground after Roan faced a pair of controversies related to her remarks about the presidential election and her last-minute cancellation of the All Things Go festivals. And it was last month that Chappell said “Things have gotten overwhelming over the past few weeks and I am really feeling it. “I feel pressures to prioritize a lot of things right now and I need a few days to prioritize my health.”

Shortly thereafter the Every Single Album podcast stated that Roan had dismissed her management, and that top tier music managers were competing for her business, though neither the artist nor the management company ever commented on the split.

Including Album of the Year (The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess), Song and Record of the Year (“Good Luck, Babe!”), and Best New Artist, Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album, Chappell Roan is up for six awards at the 2025 Grammys.
