For the first time in five years, On September 8 Cassius will to perform a one-off deejay set during the closing ceremony of the Paralympics at the Stade De France in Paris.
Cassius duo producers Philippe ‘Zdar’ Cerboneschi and Hubert ‘Boombass’ Blanc-Francard created some of the most respected, influential and commercially successful French electronic music of all time, contributing significantly to the new wave of dance music now known as ‘French Touch’.
Following Phillipe Zdar’s tragic and untimely death in 2019, remaining member Boombass kept the Cassius name on hiatus until now, and his DJ set expected to be a tribute and celebration in memory of his dear friend and co-producer.
