On Friday (3.22,) Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden announced the birth of their second child.
Now 51, the actress, who’s been married to the 45- year old Good Charlotte guitarist since 2015, took to Instagram with the news about baby named Cardinal, writing:
“We are blessed and excited to announce the birth of our son, Cardinal Madden.” “He is awesome and we are all so happy he is here! For the kid’s safety and privacy we won’t be posting any pictures – but he’s really cute. “We are feeling so blessed and grateful. Sending much love from our fam to yours. Best wishes and good afternoon!!”
In December of 2019, the power couple welcomed daughter, Raddix.
Among fellow celebrities to offer their congratulations were Benji’s brother and Good Charlotte bandmate Joel, Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz, Lionel Richie, and Katy Perry.
In 2014, Diaz put her acting career on hold and is set to return to movies screens in 2014 with the Netflix comedy Back In Action and Apple TV+’s Outcome.
