On Monday (8.04,) Calvin Harris and Vick Hope announced the birth of their first child.
Taking to his Instagram account, the Scottish deejay/record producer posted a collection of photos from the birth and revealed that the newborn son’s name is Micah, with the caption “20th of July our boy arrived. Micah is here!” “My wife is a superhero and I am in complete awe of her primal wisdom!” “Just so grateful. We love you so much Micah.”
As part of the post, Harris shared a photo of himself holding the newborn and his 35-year old television and radio presenter wife, in a birthing pool.
In an atypical image, the 41-year old musician shared a photo of what appeared to be his wife’s placenta, and a jar of supplements presumably made from the placenta.
Supporting their friend, Norwegian DJ Kygo wrote, “Congrats!!” Craig David penned, “Congratulations to you both. Amazing,” and former Love Island UK host Laura Whitmore wrote, “Congrats to you both! Enjoy the magic x.”
Calvin Harris and Vick Hope were first romantically linked in January 2022 and subsequently married in September of 2023.
