Bruno Mars Teases First Solo LP In 10 Years

Taking to social media, Bruno Mars has confirmed that his new album is finished and ready!

Though few details about his forthcoming full length have yet to be confirmed, the superstar singer/songwriter simply posted “My album is done,” on X.

Born Peter Gene Hernandez, the multi-Grammy award winner’s fourth solo album will be his first since 2016’s 24K Magic. Including such hits as ‘That’s What I Like,’ ‘Versace on the Floor,’ and ‘Finesse.’ his prior collection won the star seven Grammys, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year for the title track, and Song of the Year for ‘That’s What I Like.’

Since 2016, Mars has aligned musical forces with Anderson.Paak to form Silk Sonic for their 2021 LP, An Evening With Silk Sonic that won Record and Song of the Year at the 2022 Grammys.  And while the duo opted not to submit the album for Grammy consideration, at the time Bruno told Rolling Stone:

“We thank the Grammys for allowing us to perform on their platform – not once but twice – and awarding us at last year’s ceremony.” “We’d be crazy to ask for anything more.”

Following the Silk Sonic era, the 40-year old returned with several duets, including ‘Fat, Juicy & Wet’ with Sexyy Redd, ‘Die With a Smile,’ with Lady Gaga (that won a Grammy in 2025,) and ‘APT’ with Rosé that has since secured three nominations at next month’s Grammy awards show, including Record and Song of the Year.
