Britney Spears Talks About In-Flight Conduct Warning

On Thursday (5.22,) Britney Spears received a warning about her inflight behavior while consuming alcohol and lighting a cigarette on a private jet.

When flying from Cabo San Lucas, Mexico to Los Angeles, People and TMZ reported that concerned flight attendants requested the superstar singer to extinguish her cigarette after which authorities met her when the plane landed in LA, where the now 43-year-old was warned about her in-flight conduct and was then free to leave.

Taking to social media, Spears addressed the reports via Instagram, claiming that she thought she was able to smoke on that particular aircraft, adding:

“Confession it was my first time drinking VODKA!!! I swear I felt so SMART (laughing emojis) !!! I was like wow what the heck is in there !!! I felt so clear and smart !!!” the Stronger singer began. “And said I want a cigarette so bad !!! My friend put it in my mouth and lit… it up for me so I was like OH SO THIS IS A PLANE WHERE YOU CAN SMOKE !!! I do so apologize to anyone I offended but the flight attendants always make sure I’m way at the back of plane anyways (sic)!!!”

Alongside her lengthy caption, the songstress added a video showing her holding a bottle of alcohol while sitting in her plane seat, and alleging that she thought she was greeted by authorities at the airport “as support” and feeling “special,” Britney added:

“The flight attendant called officials because I smoked a cigarette !!! And embarrass me which jeez I thought was kinda much but she didn’t like me the moment I got on plane !!!” she continued. “Nobody was on the plane for first 20 minutes and she wouldn’t let me get out of my seat I wanted to stand up !!! She acted so weird about making sure I sat down and it was weird !!! I didn’t like the way she put the seatbelt on me and invaded my space !!!”
