In an ever-increasing list of accomplishments, The Weeknd‘s Blinding Lights hit has become Spotify’s most streamed song of all time.
According to Chart Data, the Canadian superstar singer/songwriter’s 2019 hit single has secured 3.335 billion plays on the streaming giant platform, surpassing Ed Sheeran’s former #1 Shape of You with 3.333 billion streams.
In addition to the Spotify, Blinding Lights earned a Guinness World Record for the best-selling digital song of the year 2022, the artist broke the record again in 2021 with Save Your Tears, that currently holds the top spot, and landed the musician on Spotify’s most-streamed artists of 2022.
