Beyoncé Drops New Song: Look + Listen

To the surprise of her massive beehive fan base, over the Fourth of July holiday weekend, Beyoncé released ‘Morning Dew (Donk)’

A formal statement from the superstar singer/songwriter’s representatives introduced the song as a “direct nod to her loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic celebration of B’Day”.

Marking its 20th anniversary, Beyoncé’s second album, B’Day, was released in September of 2006. Originally scheduled to be released as part of that 2006 LP, ‘Morning Dew (Donk)’ will appear on an upcoming 20th-anniversary reissue of the original LP.

Co-written by Beyoncé, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Darius Dixon, and produced by Beyoncé and Williams, Bey’s new title was released alongside a lyric video that reuses two-decade-old footage.

‘Morning Dew (Donk)’ marks the 35-Grammy award winner’s first new music since she dropped her Cowboy Carter full length in March of 2024. Including collaborations with country stars Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson and Shaboozey, the collection debuted at #1 in several countries.
