Held on Sunday (2.05,) the 65th Grammy Awards was a night of surprises including Beyoncé becoming the most-awarded artist of all time, Harry Styles taking home Album of the Year, Lizzo grabbing Record of the Year, Adele‘s trophy for Best Pop Solo Performance, Sam Smith & Kim Petras celebrated Best Duo or Group Performance, Bonnie Raitt won Song of the Year, and Samara Joy securing Best New Artist.
Beyoncé took home her 29th, 30th, 31st and 32nd Grammys for Best Dance/ Electronic Recording for her single ‘Break My Soul’, and Best Dance/ Electronic Album for the lead’s record ‘Renaissance,’ and her song ‘Plastic Off The Sofa’ also received the award for Best Traditional R&B Performance.
Prior to the last night’s achievement, Hungarian-British conductor George Solti held the record for the most Grammys earned, with 31, before Mrs Carter broke the record. And .In a statement about her Recording Academy achievement, Queen Bey said “I’m trying not to be too emotional,” she revealed while accepting the prize, via BBC News. “I’m trying to just receive this night.”
