Beyoncé Left Dangling Mid Air During Concert Malfunction: Look + Listen

It was during the first Houston, Texas date on her Cowboy Carter tour that Beyoncé was left hanging midair after she was catapulted up in a red car for her rendition of her country song ’16 Carriages.’

Though the prop vehicle was intended to make its way around the venue, concert footage shared via social media showed the sky high automobile tilting one side, stopping and then dangling in the air.

After the superstar singer completed the first verse of the song, she shouted, “Stop, stop, stop, stop” at which time crew members rushed over and lowered the faux automobile to the ground so she could be safely removed. Beyoncé then walked back over to the stage to finished the song.

Following the unfortunate incident, representatives of her entertainment company, Parkwood, took to social media with:

“Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyoncé uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt.” “She was quickly lowered and no one was injured. The show continued without incident.”
