As the global Hispanic superstar talks and walks along the beach, dining, and dancing with himself, the Puerto Rican artist sings about a lost love and regret as he declares in Spanish: “Time to move on, let it go, and forget, and later on, if we need to fall in love again, we’ll fall in love.”
Prior to the collection’s release, the musician (born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) shared that the album was “dedicated to all the Puerto Ricans in the entire world,” and a precursor short film for DTMF, highlighted a gentrified, changed Puerto Rico, featuring filmmaker Jacobo Morales. “There was something special here. I don’t know what it was, but it was an incredible magic,” said Bad Bunny about the island.
Marking his third stint on America’s longest running skit comedy show, come May 17, the now 31-year old singer/songwriter will appear as musical guest alongside host Scarlett Johansson for Saturday Night Live‘s Season 50 finale. Bunny made his official debut in 2021, where he performed “La Noche de Anoche” with Rosalía and “Te Deseo Lo Mejor.” In 2023, he took on both hosting and performance duties as he showcased songs from Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va Pasar Mañana.
