Bad Bunny Leads Latin Grammy Noms

Announced earlier in the week by The Latin Recording Academy, with twelve nods Bad Bunny leads the pack for this year’s Latin Grammy Awards nominations, including Record of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.

During what will be the 26th Annual Latin Grammy Awards, the Puerto Rican superstar (born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio,) has multiple nominations in several categories with ‘Baile Inolvidable’ and ‘DtMF’ both of which are competing for Record of the Year and Song of the Year against CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Jorge Drexler & Conociendo Rusia, Zoe Gotusso, Karol G, Natalia Lafourcade, Alejandro Sanz, and Liniker.

The first-ever trans artist to win a Latin Grammy Award, Liniker is again making history by receiving seven nominations this year. A Brazilian-born, Black trans woman, she is nominated in three of the ‘Big Four’ categories, including Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. 

With compositions penned in Spanish or Portuguese released between June 1, 2024 and May 31, 2025, the Latin Grammy Awards recognize outstanding achievement in the Latin music industry, the ceremony for which will be held on Thursday, November 13, in Las Vegas.
