Kicking off in Seattle on August 22 and wrapping in mid-November in Atlanta, The B-52’s have just announced their farewell tour supported by the Tubes and KC & The Sunshine Band assuming support slots along the way.
While front man Fred Schneider told Billboard in 2019 that the B-52’s wouldn’t embark on any more tours, they’d still make occasional festival appearances.
The band’s last album was Funplex (2008) which arrived 16 years after its predecessor, 1992’s Good Stuff.
