Originally released in 2004, today Ashlee Simpson, will drop an expanded edition of her very first full length.
In celebration of the 20th of the Autobiography LP, on Wednesday (7.17) Jessica’s young sister took to X with “Surprise! I’m dropping an expanded edition of Autobiography on Friday!”
While no additional details on what song titles the expanded version will include, earlier this week Ashlee posted a photo of the LP cover alongside the caption “On a Monday, I am waiting…for Autobiography to turn 20 this week!”
Following her announcement, a number of Ms. Simpson’s celebrity pals shared their memories of her debut album, including Demi Lovato who wrote “My middle school soundtrack!!!!” and Scheana Shay who commented, “This album was and still is EVERYTHING.”
Her first full length release since Bittersweet World in 2008, the musician/thespian has had several acting roles in recent years including the 2018 reality TV series Ashlee+Evan alongside her husband Evan Ross.
