Ariana Grande and The Weeknd have committed to collaborations with Doja Cat on the RCA Records artist’s album forthcoming full length.
The ‘Say So’ singer is slated to release her third studio album, ‘Planet Her,’ on June 25, and on Wednesday (10.06.21), the former #1 pop song singer revealed the LP’s track list and collaborations in an Instagram post disclosing the album’s track list, the artwork ,and confirmed collaborations with Ariana Grande, Young Thug, The Weeknd, and SZA, among others.
Ariana Grande lends her voice to ‘I Don’t Do Drugs,’ The Weeknd contributes to ‘You Right,’ Young Thug performs on ‘Pay Day,’ J.I.D is on ‘No Options,’ and SZA takes part in the previously released hit, ‘Kiss Me More.’ Doja previously stated that she will only join dues with musicians in whom she has faith. “I’m collaborating with folks in whom I have the utmost faith and respect. That concludes the discussion. That is all I desire. That is the only group of people with whom I wish to collaborate, and when the film is out and the identities of those individuals are revealed, it will be rather exciting.”
When previously asked about confirming collaborative names, the singer (born Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini) stated: “Not at all! Are you serious? No, not at all! I am not disclosing anything.” The 25-year-old songstress stated that each song on her forthcoming album will have its own “personality” Last year, before to the completion of the record, she stated: “I’m always winging it. My LP is on its way – I can’t say when. I’m determined to keep it a surprise. I’m trying not to say too much. Each song possesses its own distinct personality. It will not be totally constant – I have never been. However, there is some dancehall music, some Afrobeat music, some funk, and some house music. I’m making an attempt to cover all bases.”
