Ever since they co-starred on Victorious more than ten years ago, Ariana Grande and Elizabeth Gillies have been best friends though their new joint Halloween costumes are a far cry from their Nickelodeon days.
Taking to Instagram on Monday night (10.30,) the femme fatales shared 12 photos of their detailed costumes, with Grande dressed as Nomi Malone, Elizabeth Berkley’s rookie stripper in the 1995 Paul Verhoeven-directed erotic thriller, while Gillies is made up as Cristal Connors, Gina Gershon’s jaded showgirl desperate to cling to her position as the top dancer.
Captioning one side-by-side photo donning coordinated black outfits, Gillies wrote “You and me…we’re exactly alike,” and in a joint post, Liz quotes another of Gershon’s famous lines from the film: “You are a whore, Darlin’!” and “There’s always someone younger and hungrier coming down the stairs after you.”
