Arcade Fire’s 6th SNL Gig: Look + Listen

Performing two songs from their next studio LP, Pink Elephant, on May 10, indie rock act Arcade Fire made their sixth appearance on Saturday Night Live.

The second song from the act’s May 16th-released album, the Canadian quintet opened with the title track.

Recorded at Good News Recording Studio in New Orleans, owned by married bandmates Win Butler and Régine Chassagne, Pink Elephant is Arcade Fire’s seventh studio full length and their first since We dropped in 2022.

Later in the show, Arcade Fire returned to the stage for lead single ‘Year of the Snake.’

It was three years ago that the band last appeared on SNL for what was also that season’s Mother’s Day episode. Joining David Byrne and St. Vincent for a rendition of David Bowie’s “Heroes,” Arcade Fire hey did perform at the iconic show’s 50th anniversary homecoming concert in February.
