Romantically connected to the pop diva since December of 2024, Anderson .Paak confirmed that he Mariah Carey have been in the recording studio together.
During the song-guessing game portion of the Track Star* Instagram show, Anderson correctly identified Carey’s ‘Always Be My Baby’ hit single and subsequently opened his jacket to reveal his wearing a Mariah T-shirt, saying
“This would be Mariah Carey. The Mariah Carey.” “I remember in like fifth grade or something, watching the music videos and having a huge crush,” and when asked if they’d ever worked together, .Paak replied, “We’re working on some music on her new album.”
When the musical couple were spotted holding hands in Aspen, Colorado, Anderson and Mariah first sparked dating rumors in December, and they were also seen holding hands at the iHeartRadio Music Awards and a dinner in West Hollywood in March.
Yet to address the romance innuendos, the now 39-year old Anderson and the 56-year old Mariah have both been wed twice before. After 13+ years of marriage, in January 2024 the R&B singer filed for divorce from his second wife, Jaylyn Chang. Mariah shares 14-year-old twin boys Monroe and Moroccan with her ex-husband Nick Cannon, and she was most recently in a relationship with dancer Bryan Tanaka between 2016 and 2023.
