Scheduled to perform at the Spark Arena in Auckland, New Zealand on Monday night (8.24,) as a result of being “bedridden sick”, Alex Warren was forced to cancel his show at the very last minute.
Explaining his last minute decision, the 25-year old musician took to Instagram with:
“I never have to do this and it breaks my heart to even write this but I have to cancel tonight’s show.” “I have tried everything to be able to make this show work and I’m sadly bedridden sick at the moment. I can barely talk let alone sing and it sadly isn’t possible to play tonight’s show.” “I understand what it takes to be able to attend concerts and the fact so many of you travelled for this one has made this decision even more difficult. I love you so much and hope you understand.”
With all ticket holders eligible for an automatic refund, officials at Frontier Touring confirmed the singer-songwriter was too unwell to perform “following medical advice,” adding “Alex is devastated to miss the show and has been looking forward to performing for his Auckland fans. He sincerely thanks fans for their understanding and support”
Scheduled to to perform in Sydney, Australia on Friday (8.28,) the California native will drop his second studio album, Wildchild, this week.
