During one of her Las Vegas residency shows Adele told the audience that she plans to have a baby with her partner Rich Paul, once she’s finished her current work commitments.
Having dated the sports agent since 2021, the superstar singer/songwriter (born Adele Laurie Blue Adkins) said “Once I am done with all my obligations and all of my shows, I want to have a baby.” “I want a girl because I’ve already got a boy.”
Addressing what she hopes their mother-daughter relationship might look like, Adele stated “I feel like she might be like the person I love the most in the world, but also probably hate the most in the world – that is what I feel will happen. She’s going to put me in my place all the time, isn’t she?” “With me as her mother and Rich as her father, she’s going to be a bossy little queen, isn’t she?”
Adele has 12-year-old son, Angelo with her ex-husband Simon Konecki, and Rich has three children of his own. And during her Friday (5.10) show she gave a shout-out to Rich’s daughter Reonna, who graduated from Clark Atlanta University this past weekend.
“It is my stepdaughter’s graduation this weekend.” “So they’re all in Atlanta, and they’re celebrating her. And obviously, I’m here with you – wouldn’t be anywhere else – but I love you, baby. I love you!” said the multi-Grammy award winner.
After postponing her shows in March due to illness, the now-36 year old British songstress returned to her Weekends with Adele residency at Caesars Palace on Friday (5.10) and her rescheduled shows will now take place in October and November.
