Sheeran Drops 10th Anniversary Version Of ‘X’ LP

Exactly one decade after its original release, Ed Sheeran dropped a special 10th anniversary edition of his second studio album ‘x.’

First available in 2014, his sophomore set was the project that ignited his worldwide success that has now exceeded 22,000,000 global sales due to such hit singles as “Don’t,” “Sing,” “Photograph” and “Thinking Out Loud”.

Notwithstanding the original songs, the just released re-issue contains nine bonus tracks all of which have never been released on vinyl, including “I See Fire’ and “All of the Stars,” from the films, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug and The Fault In Our Stars, respectively.

In May, Sheeran celebrated the LP’s anniversary with a special, one-night only, sold out show at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center where he performed ‘x’ in its entirety, including many of the songs for the first time ever live.

The ‘x (10th Anniversary Edition)’ is available on multiple formats including an EcoRecord; a new, more ecologically sustainable LP format.
