Seven years after releasing Sex & Love, Spanish pop star Enrique Iglesias is back with part one of his FINAL full length.
What the Hispanic superstar previously announced could be his last album project, the 11-track set includes previously released hits that date as far back to 2015, including his Nicky Jam collaboration, “El Perdón,” and “Me Pasé” with current alliance with Farruko.
Included in the remaining never-before-heard tracks on the LP are “Te Fuiste,” a team-up with Myke Towers and produced by Ovy, and “Pendejo,” that comes complete with a music video.
“Te Fuiste” begins slowly with guitars and quickly builds into a powerful reggaeton rhythm in advance of Myke Towers’ entrance. “Pendejo,” (which, translated means ‘stupid,) finds a regretful Iglesias wanting to rekindle a relationship with a girl who had broken his heart.
According to Enrique Iglesias, there will be a second part to FINAL, stating: “It might be my final album. It’s not something that I have been thinking about for the past few months. It’s something that I have been thinking about for the past few years. There’s going to be Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, but they’re final. I’m in that moment in my life, that chapter in my life, where I think it’s the right time to put it out and I’ve been thinking about this since 2015.”
