Puffy Daddy Jail Sentence Shortened

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs‘ prison release date has been brought forward for a third time.

According to records from the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Combs is now eligible for release on 24 January 2028, Us Weekly reports.

“At this point we do not have the necessary information to respond with any clarity,” a spokesperson for Combs told the outlet of the rescheduled date.

The former music mogul, who is serving a 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, was originally scheduled for release on 4 June 2028. However, his release date has changed multiple times since then.

News of Combs’ new release date comes less than a week after multiple outlets reported that the rapper was involved in an alleged altercation with another inmate. The alleged fight was reportedly broken up by prison staff, and he was reportedly moved to solitary confinement following the incident.

FCI Fort Dix declined to confirm Diddy’s reported stint in solitary confinement.

“We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody,” a spokesperson for the facility told TMZ in a statement. “Such information would not be available for the public domain.”

In 2024, Combs was found guilty of two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He has denied any wrongdoing.
