- The show was curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay, who oversaw the artistic direction and performer lineup.
The performance lasted about 11 minutes, while the overall halftime interval was extended beyond the traditional 15 minutes to allow for stage setup and removal.
The halftime show also supported the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, an initiative to raise money for children’s education and access to football around the world.
The World Cup final itself saw Spain defeat Argentina 1–0 to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
