Post Malone Cancels Shows

Post Malone has cancelled the first three weeks of his upcoming tour, due to unfinished music.

The Big Ass Stadium Tour Part 2 was due to start on May 13.

Now, the Sunflower singer has revealed he wants to finish his album before going on tour.

He took to social media to make the announcement. “I came to the realization that what we’re trying to do, and what’s possible, isn’t really lining up,” he wrote. “The truth is, I promised y’all beautiful people new music, and I don’t have the time to finish it before tour starts. We ain’t ready for tour just yet, so I’m making the decision to push the tour back about 3 weeks to get this music done.”

The Grammy nominee, 30, promised fans that the wait will be worth it.

“We’ve been making some badass s**t for this double album,” he said of his seventh studio album, “and I can’t wait to perform for y’all again.” The album, The Eternal Buzz, is due to have 40 tracks.

In a previous interview with Variety, the singer, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, revealed he’d recorded “probably 35 songs” for the project but had only done scratch vocals.

The tour, which is due to include some appearances by Jelly Roll, will now start on June 9.
