During her fourth musical guest appearance on Saturday Night Live, Billie Eilish sang two songs from her May-released, third studio LP, Hit Me Hard and Soft. And all ten tracks from Hit Me Hard and Soft debuted in the Billboard Hot 100 top 40.
With the name of her latest LP written on the soles of her shoes, the multi-Grammy/Oscar winner opened SNL with “Birds of a Feather.” as she was filmed through a transparent cube alongside her brother, producer and co-writer, Finneas, who was on acoustic guitar.
For her second number, Billie performed “Wildflower,” amidst the stage lit on in dark blue light.
Prior to this week’s performance, Eilish appeared on SNL last December for the show’s Christmas episode, performing “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “What Was I Made For,” her multiple award-winning ballad from the movie soundtrack of Barbie.
Recently completing three consecutive shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden, Eilish is in the middle of her North American tour for Hit Me Hard and Soft and starts up again early-November in Georgia before working westward, wrapping up in Los Angeles in mid-December.
Early next year, she’ll be in Australia, then Europe in the spring.
