On Saturday night (2.28,) Olivia Dean was the big winner at the 2026 BRIT Awards taking home four prizes including Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for The Art of Loving, Best Pop Act and Song of the Year for Rein Me In, her collaboration with Sam Fender, who was also a double winner, picking up Best Alternative/Rock Act.
Rosé and Bruno Mars were awarded the International Song of the Year trophy for ‘APT.,’ Spanish singer Rosalía was named International Artist of the Year, Lola Young was crowned Breakthrough Artist, and Wolf Alice and Geese won the group awards.
Oasis co-founder, Noel Gallagher was honored with the Songwriter of the Year award, Mark Ronson received the Outstanding Contribution to Music prize, and Ozzy Osbourne was posthumously honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Making his first live performance in more than two years, Harry Styles opened the show with a high-energy take on his new single ‘Aperture,’ and In other highlights included Björk’s surprise appearance alongside Rosalía for the live debut of their collaboration ‘Berghain,’ while Alex Warren sang ‘Ordinary,’ accompanied by James Blunt on the piano.
Robert Trujillo and Robbie Williams fronted a tribute performance to the late Ozzy Osbourne, while Adam Wakeman, Tommy Clufetos and Zakk Wylde, and Mark Ronson performed a medley of his hits with surprise guests Dua Lipa and Ghostface Killah.
Other performers included EJAE, Audrey Nuna and Rei Ami (the singing voices of Huntr/x from KPop Demon Hunters,) as well as Dean, Raye, Wolf Alice, and Sombr.
Hosted by Jack Whitehall from Co-op Live arena in Manchester, the 2026 BRIT Awards marked the first time the ceremony was held outside of London.
