Travis Scott Rakes In Huge Numbers With Fortnite Debut

In 2019 Marshmello set a precedent when he performed a massive concert within the wildly popular game Fortnite. The exhibition that saw the masked superstar DJ play his top hits garnered an impressive 10.7 million viewers. Now, in 2020, Travis Scott made a run at the game and did not disappoint.

Taking place on Thursday, April 23rd, the concert saw a CGI version of La Flame rap tracks like “Sicko Mode,” “Goosebumps,” and “Highest In The Room.” He finished the event with the debut of his new Kid Cudi collaboration, “THE SCOTTS”. The visuals were stellar with Scott head-banging with other players, swimming under water, and floating in outer space.

In terms of audience share, the Houston native pulled in a whopping 12.3 million people who watched his astronomical show, not including those watching streams of the event via personalities like Ninja on Twitch Watch a clip of the live stream below, and enjoy another massive artist’s foray into the world of video games.
