P!NK's 'Can We Pretend' Locks Down Top Position On Billboard's Dance Chart

P!nk’s ‘Can We Pretend’ Locks Up Billboard’s #1 Dance Chart Slot

After weeks of strong and strategic upward moves, P!nk and Cash Cash‘s collaboration “Can We Pretend” has reached the pinnacle of the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. The RCA Records-released effort is the fifth consecutive #1* chart-topper for the Pennsylvania native that follows in the dance floor footsteps “Walk Me Home,” “Beautiful Trauma,” “Secrets” and “What About Us.”

Helping to celebrate her latest club culture accomplishment are a collection of remixes by DJ/producers MOTi, Bart B, Cristian Poow, Chris Cox, Sigala and Dirty Werk, each of whom contribute versions to boost its presence on the national chart as well as on domestic dance floors. And featured on the project are dance music vocalist Ryan Tedder and the New Jersey-based EDM trio Cash Cash, who, in part, crafted the initial version of “Can We Pretend.”

The latest P!nk offering wouldn’t be complete without an exciting music video, provided in an animated illustrative style that sees the 40-year-old Grammy winner on a space walk, reciting the lyrics “So can we pretend that I’m 22 today?/Dancin’ on the tables with you, oh yeah/Can we pretend that we all end up okay?/I just wanna forget with you, oh yeah.” Listen to and watch the visual for this week’s #1* Billboard dance chart song, “Can We Pretend” by P!nk and Cash Cash below.
