Normani's 'Motivation' Cracks Billboard Dance Top 10

Normani’s ‘Motivation’ Breaks Billboard Dance Top 15

As the first solo single since her Sam Smith collaboration on “Dancing With A Stranger,” Normani returns with “Motivation” that has garnered significant mainstream as well as dance club traction at #15* on this week’s Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.

The RCA Records-released effort is all about the title when the artist croons “I’ma break you off, let me be your motivation/ To stay and give it tonight/ And, baby, turn around, let me give you innovation.” Backing up the 23-year-old Hip Hop artist is a Pop-centric production propelled by percussion, simple bass lines and horns.

Coming in hot with a host of remixes are top-shelf DJ/producer/artists Eric Kupper, Country Club Martini Crew and Craig C, each of whom put their musical stamp on the original in order increase the club culture appeal of Normani’s #15* Billboard charting, solo single.
