It has been a few weeks since LSD‘s debut album came out, and through multiple Diplo sets at Coachella, fans had yet to see a live performance of the super group consisting of the man himself, Labrinth, and Sia. Now, thanks to an edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, viewers got a glimpse of the very first exhibition.
Surely, capturing the crazy aesthetic from their music videos would be incredibly difficult, but the three made it happen by incorporating bright colors and kooky decorations, as well as a supporting cast of children and dancers for the first live rendition of “No New Friends.” The visuals played out like the trippy clips they’re known for, with Sia sitting atop a tiger, Labrinth rocking a mic and Diplo playing bongos. The performance is a representation of the childlike wonder that LSD hopes to bring to their brand. However, listeners shouldnt expect to see a full-length concert any time soon, as Diplo confirmed that a tour isn’t likely.
