Love Regenerator Drops ‘Live Without Your Love’ With Steve Lacy: Listen

Half way through 2020, Calvin Harris has released three solo EPs under his Love Regenerator alias including such tracks as “Hypnagogic”, “Give Me Strength”, and the Top 10 Billboard dance charting “CP-1”. Now, the Columbia Records artist returns with The Internet’s Steve Lacy.

“Live Without Your Love,” comes courtesy of Sony Music and puts a new twist to Calvin’s alter ego’s sound. While Love Regenerator serves as a predominantly techno and progressive outlet, this fresh effort emphasizes a funky guitar, bass and vocals thanks to Lacy, atop a production that pulls the production together. True to Harris’ decades long history, the latest offering stays true to the deep club sounds integral to the Love Regenerator vibe, but orients more towards pop and R&B than his previous material under the same moniker. Listen to “Live Without Your Love” here.

In addition to his studio creations, the Scottish-born deejay/producer/artist has been active on the live stream front, putting up a myriad of DJ sets throughout the COVID-19 lockdown, including his headline performance at the Defected Records event on April 10th. Check out that exhibition here.
