John Legend, Alicia Keys, DaBaby + More To Perform At 2020 BET Awards

For the very first time in its two decade long existence the 2020 BET Awards will be broadcast remotely, complete with its usual full list of top line nominees and performers.

The Amanda Seales-hosted show will offer a large list of musicians including Alicia Keys, Roddy Ricch, Chloe X Halle, DaBaby, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Kane Brown, Lil Wayne, Megan Thee Stallion and Summer Walker. Especially busy of late, Legend is also scheduled to play a show for the upcoming July 4th celebration and the event is opting to amplify a certain few of their own voices like Masego and Lonr, with additional performances from D Smoke, Jonathan McReynolds, SiR, Usher and Wayne Brady.

Though the show is BET-branded, the 20th anniversary edition of the broadcast will air on CBS, BET and BET HER at 8 PM ET marking the very first time that the event will air on legacy networks. Given the extra coverage the BET Awards may attract a brand new audience so get ready for this Sunday’s show!
