Though superstars are, oft times, perceived as untouchable three artists recently connected with one of their biggest fans, 11-year-old Elijah Patrick Williams.

What makes this story particularly special is that Elijah had been battling cancer for the last three years and, more than anything, wanted to talk to his favorite artists, J. Cole, The Weeknd and Drake, before his his situation got worse. Thankfully, Biz 3 Publicity owner Kathyrn Frazier and Krystal Miles, executive assistant director of Anderson .Paak‘s .Paak House, organized the virtual meet-and-greets.

In a recent post, Williams’ cousin, Michael Watson II, unfortunately confirmed that the 11-year-old had passed away, but not before he speak with his musical heroes. “He didn’t leave this world without knowing how much he was loved though,” Watson noted. “Last weekend, Elijah got to ‘meet’ 3 of his favorite artists — The Weeknd, J. Cole, & Drake. Incredibly grateful for these 3 super-humans being so caring for my family during this time. We’ll hold onto these moments forever.”
