Fifth Harmony reps the fierce ‘girl group’ persona, and on Thursday they derived inspiration from the unforgettable female trio Destiny’s Child in their performance of a nostalgic DC medley.
Fifth Harmony showed off their best Destiny’s Child personas on Greatest Hits, the newest singer-centric show on ABC that premiered last Thursday. Their medley featured some of Destiny’s Child’s most famous songs, including “Say My Name,” “Independent Women, Part 1,” “Bootylicious” and “Survivor.” Aside from their vocals, the quintet’s wardrobe choice was on point; they each wore a combo of denim and red reminiscent of the 00s and early aughts fashion.
Each episode of Greatest Hits consists of the chart-toppers from different 5-year periods of the ’80s, ’90s, and ‘2000s performed by today’s hottest artists and legendary musicians. That means the nostalgia has just begun. You can tune in each week to watch more of your favorite singers slay former hits!
