After about a week of hints and teases, Ed Sheeran has finally released his highly anticipated new collaboration with Justin Bieber, the catchy “I Don’t Care.”
The pop duo are well-versed in love-struck tunes, and the new single is no different. “I don’t care/ As long as you just hold me near/ You can take me anywhere/ You’re making me feel like I’m loved by somebody,” they croon on the hook. Accompanying their vocals is a percussion-driven instrumental accented by a light and twinkling melody headed by a piano. The recording may leave fans wishing for more, but the lyrical content is enough to get their point across.
“I Don’t Care” is Sheeran’s first single since his 2017 smash album Divide. Listen to the top-shelf collab courtesy of Atlantic Records and watch the accompanying official lyric video below.
