Dua Lipa Takes Over NPR’s Tiny Desk (Home) Concert: Watch

Since this year’s rapid pivot to livestream and digital events, NPR quickly adapted their “Tiny Desk” series to meet quarantine standards allowing artists to broadcast remotely from the safety of their own spaces.

Having previously hosted Billie Eilish, Tame Impala, Skrillex, and Ty Dolla $ign, among others via its socially-distanced “Home” edition, the latest issue from NPR welcomed Dua Lipa for her long-awaited and highly-anticipated “Tiny Desk” debut. Showcasing her triple threat talents, Dua performed a four-track set of hits including “Don’t Start Now,” “Love Again,” “Levitating” and “Pretty Please” from her recent Future Nostalgia full length.

Broadcasting from her London-based room setup, the 25-year-old is accompanied by four backup singers that serve to accentuate Lipa’s signature vocals. With only two instrumentalists providing the basis over which she sings all of the Warner Bros-signed artist’s set comes together for a solid performance.
